Long time no post...

In November of 2010 (It's been a little while since our last update, we've just been so busy!) one of Jenny and Derek's daughters accidentally bought the Walled Garden two pot belly pigs. They were grumpy, smelly, fat and quite frightening but also ended up being lovable pets. They were given the names of Rose-Mary and Thyme and they were the biggest pain in the necks. To get them home we had to drive 20 miles to borrow a trailer (because we hadn't expected to be buying anything at the sale.) and it took a full hour to get them in to it! They were loud and angry but once we tempted them with food they were our biggest admirers. Sadly after the winter in the summer of 2011 we lost the friendliest pig, Rose-Mary. It was a big loss because we all loved her and used to hand feed her but she was old and lame and one day she just gave up. Thyme was very distraught but she was going blind and she too was getting old, she kept getting ill as well. She lasted the next winter but in the spring of this year, Thyme had to be put down by the vet, it was the most humane thing to do for her.
We never got new pigs, I don't think we'd find pigs as good as those two again to be honest.
